Debra Bruce, Law Practice Management

Debra Bruce primarily does executive coaching for lawyers but she has also been invaluable to me as a resource on getting started thinking on the practice of law (it’s never too early 1L’s!) and member of the Texas State Bar’s Law Practice Management Committee. She has impressive legal experience at Baker-Botts and running her own firm so it’s great to get advice from different perspectives.

She informs me that the Law Practice Management Committee does a series of seminars for students at most of the Texas law schools called “Conquering the Real World of Private Practice.” The seminar should be available at the University of Houston at some time in the fall semester.
