Steve Earle, Washington Square Serenade
It’s been a lot of years and miles since Steve Earle burst on the country scene with Guitar Town in 1986, joining Lyle Lovett and Dwight Yoakam in an all-too brief respite from the flood of Nashville crap. Washington Square Serenade is his 12th album, recorded after Earle moved to New York City with new wife Allison Moorer.
